Anzac day
The first poppy was first held in 1922.
Poppies are made everywhere in New Zealand.
Poppies were meant to be sold on Armistice day.
Poppies are red.
From the profits from the sales of poppies go to war veterans in need.
Anzac day is on the 25 April.

Hi Arnaika, it is so good to see you posting to your blog. Anzac day is such an important day of the year and poppies are so important to the day. You have found some great facts, I had no idea the first poppy was held in 1922.
